Emmy Lovell has been promoted to Executive Vice President of WEA Europe, part of the global artist and label services arm of Warner Music Group (WMG), effective immediately. Lovell, who was most recently Senior Vice President of Digital at Warner Music UK (WMUK), will report to WEA President Tony Harlow, and remain based in London.

The move is designed to help accelerate WEA’s digital transformation—with an emphasis on putting consumers at the center of its business and strengthening its ability to promote artists globally.

Warner/Chappell Music (WCM) songwriters have triumphed at the prestigious Ivor Novello Awards in London today. They collected three awards, including Best Album, Best Contemporary Song and Best Song Musically and Lyrically.

Kate Logan Named General Counsel, International for Warner Music Group

Kate Logan has been promoted to General Counsel, International, for Warner Music Group (WMG), based at the company’s London offices and reporting to Paul Robinson, WMG Executive Vice President and General Counsel. In her new role, she is responsible for all of WMG’s legal and business affairs activities outside the U.S., working closely with the company’s recorded music and publishing affiliates throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
