Fueled By Ramen (FBR) and Roadrunner Records have announced the promotion of three long-standing executives to top marketing posts. Chris Brown has been upped to Senior Vice President, Marketing, for Roadrunner and FBR; Suzi Akyuz has been named Vice President, Marketing, for Roadrunner and FBR; and Katie Baloian has been named Vice President, Marketing, for FBR. Atlantic Records has announced the launch of an in-house podcast initiative with its own dedicated podcast production team. In addition, the company is building a podcast-specific studio at its New York City headquarters, scheduled to be up and running this spring. The initiative is the brainchild of Atlantic Vice President Tom Mullen, who hosts his own acclaimed podcast music series, “Washed Up Emo,” which has been running for seven years and just aired its 124th episode.
