Warner/Chappell Nashville today announced that it has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with the independent Nashville-based publishing company River House Artists (RHA). RHA also encompasses a record label, as well as artist management services, and was launched by Lynn Oliver-Cline in 2016 to develop new country talent in Nashville.

In this post, Baker will oversee the company’s public policy positions and initiatives, as well as serve as its primary liaison with governmental and regulatory bodies across the globe. Linnea Södahl Signs Worldwide Publishing Deal With Warner/Chappell Music

Warner/Chappell Music, the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group, has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Swedish singer/songwriter Linnea Södahl.

Södahl wrote the global smash ‘Lush Life’ for Zara Larsson, which was certified platinum in 15 countries, including the UK and US, and went 10x platinum in Sweden. The single reached number one in Sweden, Poland and Mexico, and hit the top 10 in many other countries, including the number three spot in the UK.

Miles Leonard Announces His Decision To Step Down As Chairman, Parlophone Records; Mark Mitchell Named Co-President, Parlophone Records

Miles Leonard, Chairman, Parlophone Records, has announced his decision to step away from the running of the label in January 2018. Leonard, who has worked at the iconic record company for 23 years, will continue in an advisory A&R role and support the leadership transition until late 2018, after which he will continue working with Warner Music on key artists and special projects.

Mark Mitchell has been named as Co-President of Parlophone Records from 1st January 2018, reporting into Max Lousada, CEO Recorded Music, WMG & Chairman and CEO, Warner Music UK.


Warner Music Group Elevates Alfonso Perez-Soto to Senior Vice President, Global Business Development and Chief Commercial Officer, Emerging Markets

Warner Music Group (WMG) has promoted Alfonso Perez-Soto to the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Global Business Development and Chief Commercial Officer, Emerging Markets. Perez-Soto will remain based in Miami, reporting to Ole Obermann, Chief Digital Officer.

In this new role, Perez-Soto will identify new business models and open distribution channels, as well as finding ways to drive additional revenue and enhancing key partner relationships.
