Warner Music Group (WMG) is expanding and strengthening its business development team. Michael Drexler has been named VP, Digital Strategy & Corporate Development, and Allan Coye has been named VP, Digital Strategy & Business Development. Based in New York, both Drexler and Coye report to Ole Obermann, WMG’s Chief Digital Officer & EVP, Business Development, and they are the first new hires by Obermann since he joined the company at the end of last year.

SEOUL – Warner Music Korea and local independent hip-hop label Brand New Music (BNM) today announced a strategic partnership. With this new deal, WMG will enhance its presence in the world’s eighth largest recorded music market with the addition of BNM’s dynamic artist roster and A&R expertise. Jackson Wong Named As Managing Director Of Warner Music China

Jackson Wong has been appointed as Managing Director of Warner Music China. He joins Warner Music Group (WMG) from film production and distribution company Oriental DreamWorks. In his new role, Wong will be based in Beijing and report to Sam Chen, WMG’s CEO of Greater China.
