Legendary Songwriter Juanes Signs Worldwide Publishing Agreement with Warner/Chappell Music

Warner/Chappell Music, the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group, has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with 23-time Grammy-winner Juanes. His latest ground-breaking release, Mis Planes son Amarte, was the first visual album in Spanish, and went to No. 1 in 14 countries and has generated three No. 1 singles so far. Juanes was recently nominated for five Latin Grammys, including Album of the Year and two for Record of the Year, making him the most nominated artist in Latin Grammy history.

Crispin Hunt Signs Deal with Warner/Chappell

Multi-platinum selling songwriter Crispin Hunt has signed a worldwide deal with Warner/Chappell Music (WCM), the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group.

Hunt initially found fame as vocalist for Longpigs, the Sheffield-based alternative rock band. He was also the principal songwriter behind their critically acclaimed debut album The Sun Is Often Out. Since 2000 Hunt has pursued a songwriting and production career , writing for a huge variety of artists including Ellie Goulding, Florence and the Machine, JP Cooper and Jake Bugg.

Aaron Bay-Schuck Named Co-Chairman & CEO; Tom Corson Named Co-Chairman & COO

Chairman & CEO Cameron Strang to Step Down at the End of 2017

Warner Music Group (WMG) today announced a leadership transition at the iconic Warner Bros. Records (WBR). Aaron Bay-Schuck will be named Co-Chairman & CEO and Tom Corson will be named Co-Chairman & Chief Operating Officer. Both will report to Max Lousada who, yesterday, began his new role as WMG’s CEO, Recorded Music. The duo will work as a partnership, with Corson running the label’s operations and Bay-Schuck leading WBR’s creative direction.
