Records (WBR) today announced the promotion of Lori Feldman to Executive Vice President, Brand Partnerships & Creative Synch Licensing.  A 19-year veteran of the Warner Bros. team, Feldman had served as Senior Vice President, Brand Partnerships & Music Licensing since 2006.  In her new post, she will continue to forge world-class brand partnerships and licensing opportunities for Warner Bros.’ roster of artists. Based at the company’s New York City offices, Feldman reports directly to WBR Chairman & CEO Cameron Strang.

Jac Holzman, the founder of both Elektra Records and Nonesuch Records, will receive the NYU Steinhardt Music Business Program’s Visionary Award at a ceremony on March 12. The honor will be presented by Music Business students during an invitation-only event in the University’s Frederick Loewe Theatre. Lopez is Youngest-Ever to Win Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Awards
On Sunday night, Warner/Chappell husband-and-wife songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez won the Academy Award for “Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures (Original Song),” in recognition of “Let it Go” from Disney’s Frozen. With this win, Lopez joins an exclusive list of just 12 other individuals who have each won Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony awards in competitive categories.  He is the youngest person ever to have earned all four awards, and did so in just 10 years.

Warner Music Group (WMG) today announced the retirement of Kei Ishizaka from his post as Chairman & CEO, Warner Music Japan. A 46-year veteran of the Japanese music industry, Ishizaka joined Warner Music in 2011, having previously served in senior executive positions at Universal Music and Toshiba-EMI.

While at Warner Music Japan, Ishizaka spearheaded the success of new artists such as Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, one of the most popular acts in Japan today.
