Warner Music Group Corp. Reports Results For The Fiscal First Quarter Ended December 31, 2012

•Digital revenue up 16% from prior-year quarter

•OIBDA grew 13% and OIBDA margin expanded by two percentage points
 
Warner Music Group Corp. today announced its fiscal first quarter financial results for the period ended December 31, 2012.
 

“We are pleased with the start we’ve had to our fiscal year," said Stephen Cooper, Warner Music Group’s CEO.  “We continue to make progress throughout our organization, while maintaining our focus on long-term artist development, innovation and growth and carefully managing costs.”

Warner Music Group Recording Artists and Songwriters Take Home 20 Awards at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards

Warner Music Group recording artists, songwriters and distributed recordings received twenty awards at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles last night.  Among the WMG artists recognized were: Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, who received four awards (including Producer Of The Year) – more than any other artist; fun., who received Song Of The Year and Best New Artist; and Skrillex, who received three awards including Best Dance Recording and Best Dance/Electronica Album.  Other WMG award recipients include Halestorm, Zac Brown Band, Dr.
