Warner Music Group today announced the appointment of Alfonso Perez-Soto as Senior Vice President, Business Development, Latin America, Spain and Emerging Markets. Based in Miami, Perez-Soto will report to Inigo Zabala, President, Warner Music Latin America, for his work across Spain and Latin America, and Stephen Bryan, EVP Digital Strategy and Business Development, for operations in the emerging markets. This appointment marks the return of Perez-Soto to the company, having previously worked at Warner for six years, up until March 2011, as VP of Business Development, Latin America.

Lyor Cohen To Resign After Eight Successful Years At Warner Music Group

Warner Music Group (WMG) announced today that after more than eight years at WMG, Recorded Music Chairman and CEO, Lyor Cohen will resign from the company effective September 30, 2012.
 
Since joining WMG in 2004, Cohen was responsible for the restructuring of WMG’s Recorded Music division following the company’s acquisition from Time Warner, and for leading the division’s transition from a physical to a digital music company.
