Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA), the independent music distribution arm of Warner Music Group, today announced a partnership with independent record label Tender Loving Empire. Based in Portland, Oregon, the company is home to Typhoon, Y La Bamba, Loch Lomond, Radiation City, Finn Riggins, and Boy Eats Drum Machine, among others. Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA)—the independent music distribution arm of Warner Music Group—today announced the appointment of Dave Stein to Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs. Based in New York, Stein will be responsible for helping forge new partnerships with independent labels and artists, as well as expanding existing ones. In addition, he’ll provide strategic counsel across the company. Stein will report to Ariel Taitz, SVP, Strategy and Development for WEA and ADA, and David Orleans, President, ADA.
