Why did you want to work at WMG?

I’ve always looked at Warner Music Group’s roster in awe. I remember dragging my dad to Tower Records and scouring the liner notes, wanting to soak up every detail, memorize every lyric, look through the special thanks section. Some of WMG’s albums defined my coming-of-age years: Tom Petty’s Wildflowers, Neil Young’s Harvest, Green Day’s Dookie, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Blood Sugar Sex Magik. I think I’ve always wanted to be a part of that.

What is your proudest moment/project at WMG?

I’m most proud of being a part of the team that is breaking Lukas Graham. Just one year ago I was calling writers to meet with Lukas or give three minutes of their day to watch his EPK. And now he’s nominated for three Grammys!

What advice you would give someone trying to get into the music industry?

Be kind to everyone you work with, especially your peers, because you will likely cross paths with them in some way in the future.
