Warner/Chappell Music has an exciting career opportunity for a Coordinator in our Strategic Marketing and Sync Licensing department. This position will be in our New York, NY location. Detailed Job Description
The Gig:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

- Handles all requests, via phone, e-mail or fax correspondence, from parties requesting songs for use in all Video Games for use of compositions in the Company's catalog.
- Performs research duties of the Company's rights to compositions, clears copyright provisions, and obtains permission for use of compositions in Video Games for domestic and worldwide requests
- Notifies requesting parties of all Video Game song quote confirmations and approvals/denials.
- Refers requesting parties to appropriate creative staff member within the Strategic Marketing department to find suitable replacements when songs are denied
- Regularly updates both the requestor and the Company's point person for each Video Game project of said project's status (what songs are approved, denied, outstanding, etc.)
- Keeps all approval party contact information up to date in all of the Department's databases and performs research when necessary to find missing/current approval party contact information
- Maintains confidentiality of all information.

Skills Required
Our ideal candidate for this position may possess, but is not limited to the following attributes:

- Must be detail oriented, highly organized and able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Self-starter with the ability to handle diverse job responsibilities and multiple assignments.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be computer literate with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.

Education
- High School Level education or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2-3 years of licensing experience within a music publishing company preferred.

Having satisfactory equivalent of education, training and experience in related fields and/or educational disciplines sufficient to qualify for requirements of the position.
