Stephen Bryan is Warner Music Group’s Executive Vice President, Digital Strategy & Business Development. He is responsible for overseeing WMG’s worldwide digital strategy, forging new business models and building strategic relationships with emerging and established players. A seasoned executive, who joined WMG in 1997, he has been at the forefront of each iteration of the industry's digital evolution. His career includes involvement in landmark deals such as YouTube’s first agreement with a music major, licenses for the first subscription services including Spotify and Rhapsody, innovative scan ‘n’ match deals with iTunes, Amazon and Google, and ground-breaking distribution partnerships with ISPs.
Prior to joining WMG, Bryan held business development roles at The New York Times Company and The Reader’s Digest Association. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and a MBA degree from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
