Dave Cobb Signs Worldwide Publishing Agreement with Warner/Chappell Music

Warner/Chappell Music (WCM), the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group, today announced that it has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with songwriter and producer Dave Cobb and, together, jointly established Low Country Sound Publishing. The Nashville-based producer recently received a Grammy nomination for Producer of the Year in recognition of his work on A Thousand Horses’ Smoke and Southernality, Jason Isbell’s Grammy-nominated Something More Than Free, and Chris Stapleton’s Grammy-nominated and CMA-winning Traveller, among other albums.
  
Cobb has also produced albums for Sturgill Simpson, Jamey Johnson, Shooter Jennings, Waylon Jennings, Lake Street Dive, HoneyHoney, Houndmouth and Anderson East, among others. Earlier this year, Cobb launched a record label imprint, Low Country Sound, with Elektra Records. The label’s next release, Southern Family, is a concept album featuring Zac Brown, Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton, among others.
