Jesse & Joy, Zion & Lennox and Maná Receive Nominations in the Most Important Categories
Warner Music Latina received a total of 16 nominations in the top categories for the 2017 Latin Billboard Music Awards.
Jesse & Joy, who have firmly established themselves as one of the best pop songwriting duos in Latin music, are finalists in 2 categories: Latin Pop Songs Artist of the Year, Duo or Group and Latin Pop Albums Artist of the Year, Duo or Group. A few days ago, they released their first bilingual album “Jesse & Joy”, which debuted at the top positions of the digital platforms in the United States, and includes several of their biggest hits in their English versions. Jesse & Joy are getting ready to release their new single “Me soltaste” on February 10th. They will also be present at the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards in Los Angeles where they are nominated under the category “Best Latin Pop Album”.
The Latin-American multi-award winning duo Zion & Lennox are finalists in three categories: Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year, Duo or Group, Latin Rhythm Songs Artist of the Year, Duo or Group and Latin Rhythm Albums Artist of the Year, Duo or Group. This past Saturday, the #DiamantesNegros had an unforgettable night at the Choliseo of Puerto Rico. Throughout the year, Zion and Lennox will be touring several countries in Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and will be going to many cities across the United States.
The most important rock band in Spanish, Maná, are finalists in the category “Tour of the Year” for their “Latino Power Tour” which is focused on music and messages of empowerment in the Latin community. Maná is currently taking their music to several countries in South America and will be performing on February 10th at the Coliseum of Puerto Rico.
The awards ceremony will take place in Miami on Thursday, April 27th via Telemundo at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CST).
