Warner/Chappell Music (WCM), the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group, was named 2018 Music Publisher of the Year at last night’s annual ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards. This prestigious honor follows WCM’s recent win as Publisher of the Year at the ASCAP Latin Music Awards, reinforcing the company’s command of the industry’s fastest-growing genres. It’s great to see such a diverse array of talent recognized with this top honor. I’m especially excited for Gucci Mane, who is such a hard-working, and prolific songwriter. He is so deserving of this distinction.”
