Eduardo Cabra Receives Prestigious Vanguard Award

Company’s Songwriters Pick Up 12 “Most Performed Song” Awards;

Publisher Hailed for Industry-Leading 40 Latin Chart Hits in 2017

Warner/Chappell Music (WCM), the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group, was named Publisher of the Year at ASCAP’s 26th annual Latin Music Awards, held last night at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. WCM songwriters picked up 12 ASCAP “Most Performed Song” awards, while the company was also lauded for having 40 songs on the Latin charts in 2017. In a special presentation, WCM songwriter Eduardo Cabra – aka Visitante of Calle 13 and Trending Tropics – was honored with the prestigious ASCAP Vanguard Award in recognition of his impact on new and developing musical genres that have shaped the future of music.
