Publisher to administer legendary songwriter’s work in United Kingdom and Ireland

Warner/Chappell Music, the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group Corp. (NYSE: WMG), today announced the extension of its partnership with Burt Bacharach, one the world’s greatest contemporary composers, to the United Kingdom and Ireland. The new deal sees Bacharach, his publishing company New Hidden Valley Music and Warner/Chappell Music build on their existing relationship which already encompasses the United States, Canada, Scandinavia, Israel, Italy and Greece.

Under the agreement, Warner/Chappell Music UK will administer publishing rights in the entirety of Bacharach’s New Hidden Valley catalogue. This includes the vast wealth of classic songs from across the pop icon’s career such as “Close To You”, “Do You Know The Way To San Jose” , “I Say A Little Prayer” , “I'll Never Fall In Love Again” , “This Guy’s In Love With You” , “Walk On By” , “What The World Needs Now Is Love” and “Wishin' And Hopin’”, as well as new songs composed by Bacharach.
