Warner Music UK today announced it has entered into an agreement with Dee Bahl of 1554 Management and manager of Biffy Clyro, to co-manage the band ahead of the release of “Only Revolutions”, their forthcoming studio album, due for release in November.

Under the terms of the new agreement, long-time manager Bahl will work in partnership with Nostromo, the management division of 14th Floor Records, on all aspects of the band’s career as recording artists, song writers and live performers, as well as associated activities such as merchandise and brand partnerships.

Christian Tattersfield, CEO Warner Music, said “It’s great to be taking our relationship with Dee and with Biffy to the next level. The incredible new album and the huge forthcoming tour plans make this a very exciting time to expand our partnership. This agreement is about what we’ve achieved together over the last three years and our shared commitment to building on that with “Only Revolutions’”.

Dee Bahl, 1554 Management, said, “I’m pleased to have the opportunity to work with Christian and his team on the next important stage of the band’s development. Broadening our relationship with 14th Floor will help us continue to grow Biffy’s fanbase and ensure that the ambitious plans we have in place for “Only Revolutions” come to fruition”.

The band that would eventually become Biffy Clyro was formed in Ayrshire, Scotland in 1995, releasing three studio albums before signing with 14th Floor Records in 2006. The band’s first release on 14th Floor, “Puzzle”, was released to widespread critical acclaim the same year and is their biggest selling album to date, selling over 200,000 copies in the UK.

Biffy Clyro have released two singles from “Only Revolutions”: ‘Mountains’ and ‘That Golden Rule’, which both charted in the top ten. The latest single, ‘Captain’, was released on October 26th. Following on from their own headline tour in October / November, Biffy Clyro will support Muse during the European leg of their forthcoming tour.

As well as Biffy Clyro, Warner Music UK is home to a diverse line-up of home-grown talent including Muse, Paolo Nutini, James Blunt, Little Boots, Pendulum, The Streets, Damien Rice, The Wombats, Alesha Dixon, Enya and Katherine Jenkins.

Among WMG’s extensive roster of global acts are Michael Bublé, Green Day, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, T.I., Missy Elliott, Estelle, Kid Rock, REM, Josh Groban and Led Zeppelin.
