Tour Alongside The Ready Set Begins November 20th; “The Patience EP” Arrives On January 3rd

Atlantic Records has announced its signing of acclaimed singer/multi-instrumentalist Plug In Stereo.  The 18-year-old artist – known to friends and family as Trevor Dahl – will release his label debut EP, entitled “THE PATIENCE EP,” on January 3rd.

“THE PATIENCE EP” is highlighted by the Portland, Oregon-based wunderkind’s current hit single, “Oh Darling (Feat. Cady Groves),” which has already achieved sales in excess of 100,000.  In addition, the song’s companion videos are popular YouTube favorites, with total views now approaching 3 million.

Plug In Stereo will herald “THE PATIENCE EP” with a series of upcoming North American tour dates alongside The Ready Set, kicking off Sunday, November 20th at Moodswing in Wilmington, Delaware (see attached itinerary).  The dates – which also feature such like-minded artists as The Summer Set, The Downtown Fiction, Breathe Electric, and Weatherstar – will then continue through mid-December.  For more, please visit www.pluginstereo.com.

A veteran of countless middle school and high school bands, Dahl, who writes all of his own songs, truly found his creative voice when he began recording as Plug In Stereo.  Two self-produced, self-released EPs followed, with his sound earning him critical praise as well as support slots on national tours with the likes of Dashboard Confessional, Never Shout Never, and The Ready Set.

Plug In Stereo’s full-length debut, “NOTHING TO SOMETHING,” saw Dahl branching out in more acoustic-based pop songcraft and was greeted with unanimous applause upon its spring 2011 arrival.  “(Dahl) is a bona fide songwriter in the vein of Jason Mraz and John Mayer, with a ragamuffin edge,” declared Alternative Press, also saying of “Oh Darling,” “Put this one on repeat and remember your first kiss, over and over.”

A charismatic, curly-coiffed live performer, Plug In Stereo has spent much of the past two years on the road, sharing stages with bands like The Scene Aesthetic, He Is We, and Carter Hulsey, as well as performances on the sold-out “Glamour Kills Tour” with The Ready Set and at the 2011 Bamboozle Festival.
