Established in 1960, Reprise Records is now an imprint under the Warner Bros. Records (WBR) umbrella, home to a diverse array of artists, including Neil Young, Tom Petty, Green Day, Michael Bublé, Josh Groban, and others. They join an illustrious Reprise history that has included the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton, and Randy Newman. Originally formed by Frank Sinatra as a label that would give artists freedom and creative control, the early Reprise roster also included fellow Rat Pack members Dean Martin and Sammy Davis, Jr., among others. Warner Bros. acquired Reprise in 1963 and the label soon expanded into the worlds of rock and pop music. With Reprise came Mo Ostin, the inspirational executive who would guide both Reprise and WBR for three decades.
