Why did you want to work at WMG?

WMG’s rich musical history drew me to the company. Icons like Jerry Wexler, Tom Dowd, Jack Holzman, Herb Abramson, Ahmet and Nesuhi Ertegun – their work had a profound influence on my life and led me to pursue a career in music production. I was keen to help rebuild Atlantic’s studio program and contribute to the company’s legacy of recording excellence.

What is your proudest moment/project at WMG?

I’m so proud of what Atlantic’s in-house recording studio (NYC) has accomplished in its first two years: the Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum Hamilton Original

What’s one word you would use to describe WMG’s company culture?

Music first! Sorry that was two words, but I think it describes our culture extremely well. Everything starts with great music.

What is your proudest moment/project at WMG?

It has been great to be a part of the team that broke the German band The Baseballs in Finland before their big breakthrough in their home country. Their album became the biggest-selling international album in over 15 years here in Finland.

What’s your desert island disc?

It has to be Roxette´s Look Sharp!

What do you love most about working at WMG?

I love that my team and I are the ones working quietly in the background to help ensure the success of meetings, artist events, and office configurations. Each day I feel a level of accomplishment in that I have helped to make someone’s day easier and less stressful.

What’s your personal mantra?

Loyalty, courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit. This is the mantra that we repeat every day in the dojo where I have practiced Tae Kwon Do for the past decade.
