Canvasback Music

Canvasback Music, founded in 2006 by veteran A&R executive Steve Ralbovsky, joined the Atlantic Records family in 2009. Today, its roster includes Alt-J, Grouplove, Frightened Rabbit, and the Orwells. The first Canvasback release was the acclaimed soundtrack to the film Once.

Working across Warner Music’s legendary labels, such as Atlantic, Elektra, and Warner Bros. Records, as well as its international affiliates, Mike provides wide-ranging creative leadership and support to the company’s artist development activities. He serves as an advisor to the company's global A&R team, while discovering new artists and nurturing existing signings.

Previously, Mike was President, Worldwide A&R, Warner Music Group, and before that, Executive Vice President, A&R, Atlantic Records.

East West

The venerable East West name has been through several incarnations over the past six decades. In 2014, the label was relaunched as a division of Warner Music UK, and is home to a wide range of artists, among them Simply Red, Jools Holland, The Corrs, Rumer, and Beverly Knight. East West was originally formed in 1957 as a subsidiary of Atlantic, with a roster that included artists such as the Kingsmen (members of Bill Haley’s Comets), Jay Holliday, Johnny Houston, and the Glowtones.

Erato was established in Paris in 1953 with a founding mission to focus on recording French composers and artists, with an emphasis on Renaissance and Baroque music. Over the years, the Erato catalog grew to feature such noted artists as Plácido Domingo, Maxim Vengerov, Daniel Barenboim, Pierre Boulez, Maurice André, Hélène Grimaud, Scott Ross, Marie-Claire Alain, Jean-Pierre Rampal, Susan Graham, and José van Dam. Erato joined the WMG family in 1992. In 2013, Erato was relaunched when the Virgin Classics label became part of WMG through Warner’s acquisition of Parlophone Label Group.
