Kristen Burke Appointed President, Warner Music Canada

Kristen Burke has been appointed as President of Warner Music Canada.  She will take up the appointment on October 18th and be based in the company’s Toronto office, reporting to Simon Robson, President, International, Recorded Music at Warner Music Group.  

She succeeds Steve Kane, who has served as President, Warner Music Canada since 2004.  During his time in charge of the company, Kane has signed and developed a huge range of exciting artists including Billy Talent, Brett Kissel, Charmaine, Just John and Scott Helman.

Imagine Kids+Family and Warner Music Group Partner on Holiday Film Winter Wonderland From Cinco Paul

Imagine Kids+Family and Warner Music Group (WMG) have partnered to co-produce and co-finance Winter Wonderland, inspired by Warner Chappell Music’s – WMG’s publishing arm's – classic holiday song of the same name. The film, which was created and written by visionary filmmaker Cinco Paul (Schmigadoon! Despicable Me, Minions, Secret Life of Pets), will feature live-action and stop-motion animation with original songs written by Paul.
