Warner Chappell Music Signs Publishing Deal with Bad Bunny Collaborator MAG

Warner Chappell Music, the global publishing arm of Warner Music Group, has entered into a worldwide publishing agreement with rising producer MAG. Last year, he executive produced Bad Bunny’s No. 1 Billboard 200 album, El Último Tour del Mundo, which made history as the first all-Spanish language album to reach the top spot on the chart.

Warner Chappell Music President of A&R, U.S., Ryan Press, said: “MAG is an unbelievable talent and exactly the type of producer who we’re looking to add into the mix.

Laura Pausini Wins First Golden Globe with 'Io Si/Seen'

International star Laura Pausini won her first Golden Globe last night during a virtual ceremony that aired on NBC and was hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

The acclaimed Italian singer-songwriter took the award for Best Original Song with renowned songwriters Diane Warren and Niccolò Agliardi for ‘Io Sì/Seen’, featured on the Netflix film The Life Ahead, directed by Edoardo Ponti, and starring Sophia Loren.

Laura Pausini said: "Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would win a Golden Globe! And to be the first woman to win with a song in Italian… I am truly overwhelmed. What an honor.

As part of its ongoing mission to invest $100 million in organizations focused on achieving social justice, the Warner Music Group / Blavatnik Family Foundation Social Justice Fund (WMG/BFF SJF) today announced its initial six grant recipients: Black Cultural Archives, Black Futures Lab, Florida Rights Restoration Coalition (FRRC), Howard University, REFORM Alliance and Rhythm & Blues Foundation.

The WMG/BFF SJF was established in June 2020 in the wake of the brutal killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and countless other Black people.
