Warner/Chappell Music (WCM) today announced the promotion of Ben Vaughn to President & CEO of Warner/Chappell Nashville. Vaughn will continue to lead the division’s creative and commercial activities as the Nashville music community steadily rises in global prominence. Having joined the company in 2012, Vaughn has been President of Warner/Chappell Nashville since 2017. He will report to Warner/Chappell Music’s incoming Co-Chair & CEO and the company’s Co-Chair & COO, Carianne Marshall.

Andrea Ganis has been promoted to the newly created position of President of Promotion for Atlantic Records, based at the company’s New York headquarters. The announcement was made today by Atlantic Chairman & COO Julie Greenwald and Chairman & CEO Craig Kallman. In her new role, she will continue to oversee all promotion activities for Atlantic and its subsidiary labels, while serving on the company’s senior leadership team. Ganis, who joined the Atlantic promotion team in 1980, was most recently Executive Vice President.

Warner Bros. Records (WBR) today announced the appointment of Michele Nadelman as Chief Financial Officer. Nadelman comes to WBR following 12 years at Concord Music, where she was CFO of Recorded Music and SVP of Finance for Concord Music Corporate. In her new position, she will be based at WBR’s headquarters in Los Angeles and report to the label’s Co-Chairman & COO Tom Corson.

Industry Veteran Joined Label’s Management Team Last Year


Dan Cohen has been named Nonesuch Records’ senior vice president of marketing. In his new role, Cohen oversees marketing, sales, publicity, new media, and content creation for the Warner Music Group’s acclaimed label.


Prior to joining Nonesuch in early 2018, Cohen was vice president of marketing at Republic Records, spearheading Lorde’s No. 1 debut and working with artists like James Blake and John Mellencamp. Cohen reports to Nonesuch President David Bither and is based at the label’s global headquarters in New York City.

Warner Bros. Records (WBR) has announced the appointment of Julian Petty as Executive Vice President and Head of Business & Legal Affairs. Based in Los Angeles, Petty will report to Warner Bros. Records Co-Chairman & CEO Aaron Bay-Schuck and Co-Chairman & COO Tom Corson. Named a “Top Music Lawyer" by Billboard magazine in 2017 and 2018, Petty is a widely respected industry leader recognized for his talents as a proactive deal maker.
