Latin Superstar Paulo Londra Signs Global Publishing Deal with Warner Chappell Music

Warner Chappell Music (WCM) has signed a global administration deal with 24-year-old Argentine sensation Paulo Londra, who is also signed to Warner Music Latina. After a two-year hiatus, Londra exploded back onto the scene earlier this year with his most viral hit to-date, “Plan A,” which broke the Spotify Argentina, Spain, and México charts, among other Latin markets, within hours of its release at almost one million streams. It also reached No. 2 on Spotify’s global chart and the video garnered more than 133 million views on YouTube.

Rayna Bass and Selim Bouab have been promoted to Co-Presidents of 300 Entertainment, it was announced today by co-founder and Chairman/CEO Kevin Liles. Bass and Bouab, who both joined 300 in 2014, were most recently the company’s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Senior Vice President/Head of A&R, respectively. Warner Chappell Music has signed a global co-publishing deal with Puerto Rican rapper Villano Antillano. Known as one of the pioneers of the queer music movement in the Latin urban scene, Villano is paving the way in a predominantly male-dominated genre with unapologetic, empowering Latin urban anthems. In the last year, she’s released several noteworthy singles, including her most recent track “Vocales,” where she also served as co-producer and director for the music video.


Julia Betley Joins Warner Records as SVP, Creative Sync Licensing

Julia Betley has joined Warner Records as SVP of Creative Sync Licensing. Betley comes to Warner following a decade at Sony Music Entertainment’s RCA Records, where she most recently served as VP, Licensing & Soundtracks. In her new post, Betley reports to Warner Records EVP, Brand Partnerships & Sync, Claudia Butzky and is based at the label’s LA headquarters. The Warner Music Group / Blavatnik Family Foundation Social Justice Fund (WMG/BFF SJF) today announced its first annual Grantee Convening event. From June 16-17, the Fund’s 27 current grantee partners will gather with WMG/BFF SJF Board members to share their work, and to find synergies in their efforts to advance racial justice across the arts, education, and criminal justice reform.
