Warner Chappell Music France Partners with Benjamin Biolay’s Publishing Company

Warner Chappell Music, the publishing arm of Warner Music Group (WMG), today announced it is partnering with French icon Benjamin Biolay’s music publishing company, Bambi Rose. As part of the deal, Warner Chappell will represent both Biolay’s vast catalogue and future works.

Biolay is one of the most respected songwriters in France, having released nine solo albums since 2001, as well as soundtracks, collaboration albums and remix EPs. He has also written and composed for some of the country’s biggest artists including Vanessa Paradis and Henri Salvador.

Cat Kreidich Appointed Executive Vice President at ADA Worldwide

ADA Worldwide, the global independent distribution division of Warner Music Group, today announced the appointment of veteran music executive Cat Kreidich to Executive Vice President. In this role, Kreidich will spearhead ADA’s widening global footprint and partnerships across international commerce and marketing, in addition to label/product management and operations. Based in New York, she will report to Eliah Seton, President of Independent Music & Creator Services, Warner Music Group.

Warner Chappell Music Signs Publishing Deal with Bad Bunny Collaborator MAG

Warner Chappell Music, the global publishing arm of Warner Music Group, has entered into a worldwide publishing agreement with rising producer MAG. Last year, he executive produced Bad Bunny’s No. 1 Billboard 200 album, El Último Tour del Mundo, which made history as the first all-Spanish language album to reach the top spot on the chart.

Laura Pausini Wins First Golden Globe with 'Io Si/Seen'

International star Laura Pausini won her first Golden Globe last night during a virtual ceremony that aired on NBC and was hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

The acclaimed Italian singer-songwriter took the award for Best Original Song with renowned songwriters Diane Warren and Niccolò Agliardi for ‘Io Sì/Seen’, featured on the Netflix film The Life Ahead, directed by Edoardo Ponti, and starring Sophia Loren.
