Hannah Karp serves as EVP and Chief Communications Officer for Warner Music Group where she spearheads global communications and brand marketing strategies, ensuring a unified approach across the company’s diverse portfolio of businesses. 

In 2017, she joined Billboard as News Director before being elevated to Editor-in-Chief the following year. At Billboard, she oversaw all editorial content across the publication’s digital, social, and print platforms, serving a fast-growing global audience of music fans, creators, and industry professionals. She began her career at The Wall Street Journal as a staff reporter from 2005 to 2017, covering the music industry as well as beats ranging from sports and travel to the economy. An independent director of D’Addario’s board since 2023, she holds a BA in economics from Duke University and a master’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
