Warner Chappell Music (WCM) Nashville has renewed its global publishing deal with acclaimed country music hitmaker Parker McCollum. Known for his RIAA Platinum-certified smash hits – “Pretty Little Heart” and “Burn It Down” – his blend of authentic lyrics, paired with powerful vocals, continues to resonate with fans across genres. This year, McCollum released his self-titled album, one of his most creative works to date, which reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart.
Parker McCollum shared: “Writing songs is where I’m myself the most. I’m a songwriter first, and getting to do what I love, alongside a team that has fully supported my journey since the very beginning makes all the difference. I’m proud and grateful to have Jessi, Austen, and the entire Warner Chappell team on my side. The best is yet to come.”
Jessi Vaughn Stevenson, VP, A&R, WCM Nashville, said: “Having the privilege to work with Parker has been one of the most creatively fulfilling and rewarding facets of my career. We’re thrilled to continue our creative partnership with Parker, and excited for his current and upcoming chapters.”
Austen Adams, President, WCM Nashville, shared: “Parker embodies the drive, authenticity, and talent it takes to become a hitmaker in Nashville, and a force well beyond it. Jessi and the team have done incredible work supporting him, and I’m excited to build on that momentum as we continue this journey.”
A Conroe, Texas native, Parker McCollum began songwriting and playing shows as a teen. After releasing early EPs, he broke out with his 2015 debut album, The Limestone Kid, featuring a blend of country, Americana, and folk-rock influences. In 2021, he released his major-label debut album, Gold Chain Cowboy, featuring RIAA Platinum-certified hits like “Pretty Heart,” which scored McCollum his first No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart as well as “To Be Loved by You.” In 2022, McCollum was named ACM’s New Male Artist of the Year, and shortly after released Never Enough (2023). The following year, he nabbed a CMA Song of the Year nomination for the smash hit “Burn It Down,” among other nominations. This year, he released his self-titled album – recorded in just one week with producers Frank Liddell and Eric Masse. McCollum has previously been named an Artist to Watch by Rolling Stone, Billboard, and more. The country star is currently on a nationwide tour through the end of this year.
