Warner Chappell Music (WCM) has signed an exclusive publishing agreement with hit R&B singer/songwriter Coco Jones. Her highly acclaimed EP, What I Didn’t Tell You, landed her five Grammy nominations at the upcoming 66th Annual Awards – including Best New Artist – as well as her first Billboard Hot 100 hit with the platinum-selling single, “ICU.” Riding on the success of her album, Jones emerged as one of 2023’s biggest acts and embarked on her first headlining tour, selling out shows in 16 major cities across the U.S.
On signing with WCM, Coco Jones shared: “Music has been a constant in my life and the motivation that has anchored me since the very beginning. Discovering a team at Warner Chappell that shares that same passion and understands my voice and vision is very special to me.”

Born in South Carolina and raised in Lebanon, Tennessee, Courtney Michaela “Coco” Jones started her music career recording songs at the age of nine. She garnered further prominence after starring in the Disney Channel film Let it Shine in 2012, as well as the sitcom Good Luck Charlie. Between 2014 and 2018, she released music independently, including the songs “Depressed,” and “Just My Luck,” which saw over 4.2 million views on YouTube. In 2019, Jones released her eight-track EP, H.D.W.Y., followed by “Hollyweird” in 2020. She went on to star in Peacock’s Bel-Air, an acclaimed sitcom of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and in 2022, she signed to High Standardz/Def Jam Recordings and released her EP, What I Didn’t Tell You. A year later, in addition to releasing an expanded edition of her 2022 EP, she received her first Grammy nominations and took home Best New Artist at the BET and Soul Train Music Awards as well as NAACP Image Awards’ Outstanding New Artist. She’s collaborated with heavy hitters whose credits span some of R&B’s most iconic voices, from Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey to Beyoncé and Summer Walker.
