Move will accelerate his global career from his new base in Los Angeles
Warner Music today announced that it has inked a deal with globally recognized Japanese star Yuki Chiba. The rising talent is signed to Warner Music Japan in partnership with 300 Entertainment in the U.S. to accelerate Chiba’s global career. His debut track, “Team Tomodachi,” released last year, became a streaming hit across Asia, and his collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, “MAMUSHI (feat. Yuki Chiba),” generated massive buzz across social media.
With Warner Music’s extensive network, cutting-edge digital marketing capabilities, and opportunities for international collaboration, WM Japan and 300 will partner to support Chiba’s continued global growth and ambitions.
Takeshi Okada, President and CEO of Warner Music Japan, said: “We are delighted that Yuki Chiba, an artist with truly one-of-a-kind creative talent and an undeniable presence, has chosen us as a partner for the next chapter of his career. We’re excited to collaborate on his recording work, and also offer comprehensive support for his entire musical journey. With a strong and growing fan base both in Japan and overseas, Chiba-san is poised to take to the world stage. As a global music company, we will bring the full strength of our international network and capabilities to back his bold ambitions and help turn audiences into fans and his dreams into reality.”
Rayna Bass and Selim Bouab, Co-Presidents of 300 Entertainment, said: “Yuki is a dynamic talent already making waves globally. At 300, we’re committed to championing artists who push boundaries and impact culture, and we’re excited to partner with Yuki on this next chapter.”
Yuki Chiba is set to relocate to Los Angeles to focus on his global career. He will headline his first-ever U.S. concert on September 18 at The Roxy in Los Angeles, announced through a teaser video on Instagram and a dedicated website, yukichibatour.com. On September 20, he will take the stage at the Head In The Clouds Festival New York, hosted by 88rising, at Under The K Bridge Park in Brooklyn.
Chiba also recently joined the Jordan Family, representing Nike’s JORDAN BRAND worldwide, and collaborated with Riot Games, contributing the official anthem for its VALORANT VCT Pacific Stage 2 event.
While building his career, Chiba also plans to give back to his community by launching Chiba Fes, a new cultural event in Tokyo. The event will feature collaborations with a diverse range of artists and creators, becoming a new cultural platform connecting Japan with the world.
