The management team at Warner Chappell Music France has been strengthened by the appointment of Nathalie Monnet as Legal Director and Lucie Sort as Finance and Administration Director. The move follows the promotion of Matthieu Tessier to the role of Managing Director of Warner Chappell Music France earlier this year.
Lucie Sort joins the publisher from Warner Music France, where she had served as Controlling Director since 2014 as the record company embraced and transformed its business models towards digital. She began her career as an auditor at Ernst & Young before moving into the entertainment and travel industry, working as a financial controller at Disneyland Paris, Center Parcs and at Warner Music France from 2006 to 2011.
She is succeeding the hugely respected Dalila Revenu, who will be retiring after being with the company for almost 40 years. The pair have been working together on an extended transition over several months to pass on Revenu’s unrivalled knowledge of the company and industry to Sort.
Nathalie Monnet moved to Warner Chappell Music from Universal Music Publishing France, where she had worked in the Business Affairs team since 2008. Her first job was in the International Department at collecting society SACEM, and she later worked in the Business Affairs team at Warner Chappell Music France between 2006 and 2008, before moving to Universal.
Lucie Sort says: “It’s an exciting time to be joining Warner Chappell Music France, which is performing hugely strongly under Matthieu’s leadership. And I know I’ll be building on the amazing legacy of Dalila, who has been such a crucial part of the team for so many years. Our industry is fast-changing and I want to help Matthieu and the team write the next chapter for our company, we’re hugely ambitious and we want to grow even further.”
Nathalie Monnet adds: “I’m so pleased to be coming home to Warner Chappell Music. I’ve fond memories of my last time working here and it’s an honour to take up this critical role in support of our songwriters.
