Songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Víctor Martínez has signed a global deal with Warner Chappell Music Spain, the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group. Martínez is best known for his collaboration with C Tangana in his recent critically acclaimed hit album El Madrileño.
The guitarist and percussionist has also collaborated with some of the biggest names in Spanish music, from Latin pop star Jorge Drexler to Flamenco legend El Niño De Elche. Prior to the pandemic, Martínez also performed live with artists including Guitarricadelafuente, Muerdo, Mafalda and Lucía Fernanda.
Victor Martínez says: “Many of my friends and collaborators already work with Santi and the team at Warner Chappell Music, so it seemed like a natural home for me. They take a strategic, global approach to promoting their writers and supporting their careers, and that’s hugely important to me as I look to further build my career.”

Hailing from the town of Elche in South East Spain, Martínez first became involved in music from an early age. After a TV appearance, he formed a strong friendship with the Spanish artist C Tangana. The pair have since been on a musical journey together, creating hit after hit.
The album El Madrileño was released in February 2021 and shot straight to the top of the charts, with every track on it holding a spot on Apple Music’s Top 25 singles chart in Spain. The sound of El Madrileño drew on influences ranging from flamenco, Latin music, and contemporary pop.
