Warner Chappell Music (WCM), the global publishing arm of Warner Music Group, today announced the promotion of Gabz Landman to Executive Vice President, A&R. Based at the company’s Los Angeles headquarters, she will continue to report to Ryan Press, President, A&R, North America.
Since joining WCM in 2022, Landman has been a fierce advocate for creative talent, cultivating an elite roster featuring standout songwriters and culture-defining stars. Her key signings include Amy Allen, Laufey, John Ryan, Madison Beer, Lizzy McAlpine, The Chainsmokers, Delacey, Andrew Wyatt, Daniel Chetrit, and Diplo, among others.
Landman works side by side with superstar songwriter Amy Allen, guiding her through a run that includes back-to-back Grammy Awards for Songwriter of the Year (Non-Classical) and pairings with artists such as Olivia Rodrigo, Tate McRae, Sabrina Carpenter, and Olivia Dean. She notably set up the pivotal “So Easy (To Fall in Love)” session pairing Allen, Dean, and John Ryan, which spent five weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart. She is currently working closely with Laufey, Diplo, and Madison Beer on upcoming music. Landman has also built a track record of developing talent early. Her inaugural signing, Cal Shapiro, has become a key collaborator with Cameron Whitcomb and Alex Warren, including on the hit single “Ordinary.” Another early signing, Carrie K, recently worked extensively on Noah Kahan’s album and celebrated her first No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart alongside Koe Wetzel and Jessie Murph.
In recognition of her industry impact, Landman was named to Variety’s New Leaders list in 2023 and Billboard’s Women in Music and 40 Under 40 lists in 2025.
Ryan Press said: “Gabz has a natural instinct for spotting and developing talent ahead of the curve, and she brings a 24/7 hustle to everything she does that’s rare to find. Having built some of the strongest relationships in this business, she’s a real advocate for artists and songwriters, and a true leader helping drive Warner Chappell’s growth, both on the charts and culturally. She’s earned this, and I couldn’t be prouder to see this next step.”
Gabz Landman noted: “I’m incredibly grateful to Ryan and the entire team at Warner Chappell for this opportunity. Since joining the company, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented songwriters and artists in the industry, and I’m endlessly inspired by their creativity and drive. Discovering and developing talent is my greatest passion, and I’m excited to keep building on that work in this new role.”
In her elevated position, Landman will continue to drive creative A&R strategy across North America, remaining committed to the discovery, signing, and long-term development of top-tier songwriting talent. She will champion both breakthrough and established songwriters, while expanding WCM’s reach and unlocking new creative opportunities across the music landscape.
Landman’s promotion comes amid a wave of powerful momentum for the publisher. WCM’s genre-diverse roster continues to shape culture and lead the global charts, highlighted by John Ryan, who currently holds four songs in the Top 20 on the MediaBase radio charts. Among recent achievements, WCM writers MAG and Scott Dittrich made history this year with Bad Bunny’s chart-topping global Latin anthem, “DtMF,” while the publisher has also scored hits from Cardi B, Don Toliver, and ROSÉ, among others.
