Warner Music Group’s ADA Worldwide Partners With Drag Management Firm, Producer Entertainment Group, On Global Music Distribution Deal

June 27, 2019

Multiple New Releases Planned from Top LGBTQ Artists

Just in time for Pride, Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA), the global independent distribution division of Warner Music Group, announces a partnership with Producer Entertainment Group (PEG), the management firm and record label behind the most successful drag artists. ADA will distribute all new releases from PEG Records, the independent label responsible for the world’s top drag music. ADA will also manage PEG’s extensive catalog of over 25 full-length albums, EPs, and dozens of singles.

The partnership, which begins immediately, will include upcoming releases from artists Alaska Thunderf*ck, BeBe Zahara Benet, Blair St. Clair, Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka O’Hara, Ginger Minj, Jinkx Monsoon, Jiggly Caliente, Jujubee, Kahanna Montrese, Katya, Manila Luzon, Monét X Change, Nina West, Peppermint, Sharon Needles, Trixie Mattel and Trinity The Tuck, with additional announcements by year’s end. The arrangement includes physical and digital distribution as well as sync, radio and other key label services.

“This label partnership brings an unprecedented opportunity for drag artists to achieve even greater visibility and commercial success with their music,” said David Charpentier, President and Founder, Producer Entertainment Group. “We could not be happier to begin working with our new partners at ADA, who understand the unique genre we’ve developed. ADA brings additional resources into our firm that will allow our label to continue growing via their incredible expertise and infrastructure.”

“We are so excited to be partnering with PEG,” said Eliah Seton, President of Independent Music & Creator Services, Warner Music Group. “Drag has had its own celebrated place in the entertainment industry for a long time, and shows like RuPaul’s Drag Race have created more visibility and taken this queer artform into the mainstream. It feels especially appropriate that we are announcing this partnership right as the 50th anniversary of Stonewall is approaching, an event that proved that drag queens can not only make us want to get up and dance, they can make history – or herstory.”

The distribution announcement comes on the heels of a string of recent musical successes from PEG artists over the past year, including Nina West’s recent double debuts on both Billboard’s Comedy Album (No. 2) and Kid’s Album (No. 9) charts, Alaska Thunderf*ck’s debut at No. 2, Manila Luzon’s debut at No. 3 and Trinity the Tuck’s debut at No. 9 on Billboard Comedy Albums chart. In addition, Trixie Mattel reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseeker’s chart and Blair St. Clair reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Album chart and peaked at No. 8 on Billboard’s Dance Singles Chart in 2018.

PEG is also responsible for over 90 of the world’s top drag music videos that collectively have amassed more than 100 million views on YouTube and VEVO.
