1. INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Notice applies when you sign up for, use and access the WMG Pulse app. A platform for artists and their teams to access performance metrics, financial information, and other relevant content. It describes our practices in connection with how we collect, use and disclose the personal information of:
- artists, feature artists, songwriters and producers (together “artist”); and
- Staff and artist support including managers and professional services who either who work for an artist, or for WMG in relation to an artist.
The company responsible for controlling how your personal data is used will depend on which Warner Music Group (WMG) entity you have entered into an agreement with. For further information regarding WMG entities and affiliates, please refer to the list and location of our entities here.
This notice covers your personal information in relation to the app and not our broader relationship with you, which is covered in the Artist Privacy notice available here, or your relevant staff privacy notice.
2. HOW WE COLLECT AND USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. INTRODUCTION
We collect personal information about you, either directly from you or a third-party source, depending on how you interact with us. For example, we may collect your information from your agent or representative, royalty collection societies, social media platforms, e-commerce platforms, digital service providers (DSPs) and streaming services.

3. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION
We will keep your personal information for as long as we have a need to do so, to carry out the purposes set out above. We will only keep your information if we are permitted to do so by applicable law and will securely delete your information when it is no longer needed.
- The length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you;
- Whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject, for example where certain laws require us to keep records of your information for a certain period before we can delete them (such as where we are required to conduct statutory audits);
- Whether retention is advisable in light of our legal position (such as regarding applicable statutes of limitations, litigation or regulatory investigations); and
- Any guidelines issued by relevant legal and data protection authorities.
4. WHO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH
We may share your information with our internal group of companies and WMG affiliates for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice. You can consult the list and location of our affiliates here.
WMG may also disclose your Personal Information to certain entities or persons that provide services to help us to provide you with our services or those who qualify as data processors including:
- Collecting management organisations, independent management entities or other rights management entities;
- Organisations and participants in the exploitation of recordings, works and/or other related materials (including by way of example: producers, managers, representatives, and publishers);
- Tax authorities, tax and debt managers;
- Social media platforms, e-commerce platforms, DSPs and streaming services;
- Media partners, marketing and PR agencies, marketing content tools providers; and
- Web support and content hosting companies.
We may share your personal information with our group of companies, affiliates and service providers who may be located outside of the country you live in, including transfers to the United States. Where this is the case, we use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect your personal information.
We also use and disclose your personal information as necessary or appropriate, when we have a legal obligation or legitimate interest to do so:
- To comply with applicable law.
- This can include laws outside your country of residence.
- To respond to requests from the public and government authorities.
- These can include authorities outside your country of residence.
- To cooperate with law enforcement.
- For example, when we respond to law enforcement requests and orders.

- We have a legitimate interest in disclosing or transferring your Personal Information to a third party in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets or stock (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings). Such third parties may include, for example, an acquiring entity and its advisors.

We may change this WMG Pulse Privacy Notice at any time. We will notify you of any significant changes where we have a relationship with you and otherwise post updated versions on our website from time to time. Please refer to our “Last Updated” legend at the top of this page to see when this Privacy Notice was last revised. Any changes to this Privacy Notice will become effective when we make the revised Privacy Notice available on this page.
