WARNER MUSIC ASIA LAUNCHES ‘PROJECT UNSUNG’ ARTISTS JOIN WORLDWIDE EFFORT TO DESTIGMATIZE CONVERSATIONS AHEAD OF WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY 2020

Warner Music Asia is proud to launch ‘Project Unsung’, a campaign featuring leading artists talking about their experience of mental health issues in a bid to destigmatize conversations around the topic.

Artists including Nathan Hartono and Jasmine Sokko (Singapore), St. Wolf (Philippines), Anri Kumaki (Japan), Pyra (Thailand), Dough-Boy (Hong Kong), Hanin Dhiya (Indonesia), Kiiara (USA), Sam Feldt (Netherlands), Elderbrook (UK), and Soleima (Denmark) also read aloud some of their most profound and deeply personal lyrics.

New Leadership for Warner Music’s Artist Services Team in London

Warner Music has announced a new dual leadership for its international Artist Services team based in London. Morgan Hughes steps up to the new role of Head of Creative and Russell Fogden joins from Bravado as Head of Commercial.

Artist Services is a division of WEA, Warner Music’s global artist and label services arm, and it supports artists in areas including direct-to-fan sales, merchandising, ticketing, website design and VIP fan club experiences.

Fogden and Hughes will be based in Warner Music’s London offices and report to Emmy Lovell, EVP, WEA Europe.

Aaron Randall and Bill Ashton Appointed Managing Directors of Songkick

Aaron Randall and Bill Ashton have been named as the new Managing Directors of Songkick, the global live music discovery service. They will be based in Songkick’s London headquarters and report to Emmy Lovell, EVP, WEA Europe.

Ashton moves into his job after serving as Senior Vice President, Artist Services at Warner Music and Randall taking on this new title in addition to his existing role as Songkick’s Chief Technology Officer.

Ruby Chou Named Managing Director of Warner Music Taiwan

Ruby Chou has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Warner Music Taiwan. The new role is effective immediately and she will be based in Taipei, reporting to Simon Robson, President of Warner Music Asia.

Chou was previously the Managing Director of Money101 Taiwan, and during her time there turned the financial services company into a household name in the country, hugely growing its revenue and market share in the process. Her career background is in digital marketing and she’s run teams at several leading agencies working with a range of high-profile brands.
