Distributor to operate under current leadership while integrating WMG’s proprietary technology, including Revelator tools, for label partners
Warner Music Group (WMG) today announced the acquisition of Zebralution Music GmbH, a spin-off of Zebralution GmbH and a premier distributor for independent record labels in Germany and across Europe, from Bookwire, a leading publishing tech provider that acquired the Zebralution group this year.
Zebralution Music’s existing leadership will remain in place under Co-Founders and Co-CEOs Konrad von Löhneysen and Sascha Lazimbat, who will work closely with Niels Walboomers, President of Warner Music Central Europe, to align strategic operations.
Zebralution Music’s partner labels will continue to benefit from the distributor’s deep local expertise while gaining direct access to WMG’s advanced technology suite, including the state-of-the-art distribution, analytics, and financial tools powered by music tech and digital distribution platform Revelator, which WMG acquired earlier this year.
