ADA Worldwide Partners With Wilco’s dBpm Records on Global Distribution Deal

November 30, 2018

ADA Worldwide announces an exclusive partnership with dBpm Records, a full-service record label founded in 2011 by the rock band Wilco. ADA Worldwide will globally support the label across sales, distribution and retail marketing efforts for all upcoming releases, including Wilco front-man Jeff Tweedy’s first all-original solo album, WARM, out today. Headquartered in Chicago, the label has released all of Wilco’s albums since The Whole Love in 2011 including Tweedy’s Sukierae and covers album Together At Last.

“We are thrilled to welcome dBpm Records to the ADA family,” says ADA Worldwide President Eliah Seton. “It’s a privilege to contribute in any way to their iconic musical careers and to provide Jeff and Wilco access to global distribution and label services as they take this next step.”

Adds ADA President of A&R/Label Services, Kenny Weagly, “We couldn’t be happier to continue working with Jeff Tweedy and Wilco as part of our new relationship with dBpm Records. The band has a long history with Warner Music Group, and a direct relationship with ADA via their own label seems like the perfect next move.”

“Wilco and dBpm are looking forward to continuing our relationship with WMG,“ says Tweedy. “It’s always nice when you get to keep working with familiar faces.”

In anticipation of this week’s album drop, Tweedy released the song and video for “I Know What It’s Like,” directed by Mark Greenberg. WATCH HERE. Tweedy also announced a solo tour for early 2019. Tickets can be purchased HERE. Earlier this month, Tweedy also released his first book via Penguin Random House (Dutton), “Let’s Go (So We Can Get Back)”, a memoir of his life and career. Listen to WARM HERE.
