Warner Chappell Music Renews Global Deal with Stromae’s Mosaert Label

March 11, 2026

PARIS, March 11 2026: Mosaert, the independent creative house and publishing company founded by legendary artist Stromae, has renewed its worldwide administration deal with Warner Chappell Music (WCM), the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group.

The deal, led by WCM France, will see Stromae’s iconic catalog – which includes celebrated albums like Cheese, Racine carrée, and Multitude, along with Diamond-certified hits such as “Alors on Danse” and “Papaoutai,” – continue to be represented worldwide by the global publisher.

Stromae is one of the world’s foremost musicians, lauded for his boundary-pushing artistry across a number of disciplines. He’s won wide acclaim for his unique sound, which seamlessly interweaves influences from a variety of diverse sources including rap, pop, afrobeat, electronica and world music.

His influence was recently underscored by the record-breaking success of “Ma Meilleure Ennemie”, which became the most-streamed Francophone song in a 24-hour period in Spotify history following its 2024 release.

Speaking on the news, Matthieu Tessier, Managing Director, WCM France, said, “Warner Chappell Music France and myself are proud to continue our partnership with the Mosaert Label, a renewal that reaffirms our commitment to supporting Stromae, whose boundless creativity and unique influence continue to shape generations and resonate far beyond the French-speaking scene, making an impact worldwide.”

Mosaert added, “We are happy to extend our journey with WCM. This renewal allows us to keep exploring new creative territory with the same independence and ambition that we’ve always had.”

Guy Moot, CEO & Co-Chair, Warner Chappell Music, finished, “We’re delighted to be renewing our relationship with Mosaert, home to Stromae and his world-class creativity. As disruptors in the creative space, we’re excited to see how they’ll continue to push boundaries in music, fashion and more, as we extend our next set of creative journeys with the team.”

The renewal comes as Stromae’s career continues to shine.  Last year, he achieved  his 49th SNEP export certification, with “Alors on Danse” reaching an unprecedented 21-times Diamond status. And his stunning double victory at Les Victoires de la Musique awards in 2023, where he won both Male Artist of the Year and in Album of the Year for Multitude, further solidified his status as a critical and commercial titan

Founded in 2009 by Stromae (Paul Van Haver), his wife and Creative Director Coralie Barbier, and his brother and Executive Creative Director Luc Van Haver, Mosaert (an anagram of ‘Stromae’) was designed to maintain total artistic autonomy.

As a multi-disciplinary creative house, Mosaert oversees all aspects of his work, from songwriting to production, visuals to videos, and stage design to costumes. It is renowned for its creative excellence and has become involved in producing videos for international artists such as Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa and Orelsan. Mosaert even runs its own fashion line, with collections made from sustainable fabrics and presenting a colourful, graphic look.
