Warner/Chappell Music, the global music publishing arm of Warner Music Group, today announced the appointment of Anna Wester to its UK team as A&R Manager.
An accomplished broadcast and print journalist, DJ, and talent booker with extensive electronic and dance music experience, Wester joins Warner/Chappell from Boiler Room TV, the global online music broadcasting platform. Based at Warner/Chappell’s London offices, Wester reports to Mike Smith, Managing Director, Warner/Chappell Music UK.

In 2015 Wester joined Boiler Room TV, which commissions and streams live music sessions around the world, working for the firm in New York and London. She also acted as a freelancer for Luger, the artist booking agency and festival organiser owned by Live Nation.
She began her career in her native Sweden, working for national broadcaster Sveriges Radio and the Gothenburg Times as a researcher and journalist. She also co-founded The Random Creative, serving as a club organiser, DJ booker and PR consultant. In 2013, she joined Universal Music Group in Stockholm, acting as a Junior Digital Account Manager co-managing the Spotify account.
Wester is also a professional DJ, starting with gigs in Berlin clubs in 2011, and then working in venues across Europe.
