Cherrytree Records – the record label division of the Cherrytree Music Company – and ADA, the independent distribution and services arm of Warner Music Group (WMG), have announced a global partnership today. In an incredibly exciting move, Cherrytree Records, a label known as a catalyst for artist collaboration & innovation is thrilled to begin operating 100% independently and will exclusively distribute their trademark, Pop Alternative music globally through ADA.
Cherrytree Records’ first release as a complete independent will be 14-year old vocal wunderkind Skylar Stecker’s This Is Me -The Signature Edition album set to hit this June. Skylar has amassed incredible support including heavy radio airplay from Radio Disney and a recent appearance on the Today Show. She’s also just wrapped a stateside tour with Bay Area hip hop duo Kalin & Myles who feature on her latest video “Bring Me to Life,” produced by RedOne. Her song “Cherry on Top” featuring Silento and produced by Rock Mafia was the official theme song to the Radio Disney Music Awards.
