WARNER MUSIC CENTRAL EUROPE APPOINTS MARKUS HOLZHERR AS CHIEF BUSINESS OFFICER

Markus Holzherr has been appointed as the Chief Business Officer of Warner Music Central Europe.  He is starting in the role today and will report to Doreen Schimk and Fabian Drebes, Co-Presidents of Warner Music Central Europe.

Holzherr is a proven financial expert with many years’ experience.  He joins the label after serving as Managing Director, Finance and Controlling, DFB GmbH & Co. KG, a subsidiary of the German Football Association which deals with marketing and sales, IT and digital services, and event management.

He previously worked at companies including international e-commerce firm Mytheresa and the media giant ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG.

In his new role, Holzherr will be responsible for the Finance, New Business, Research & Analytics and Legal departments.  The newly created position of Chief Business Officer underlines the vision of the WM Central Europe team to think strategically and holistically about artists and the wider business in order to anticipate changes in this fast changing industry.  In creating this position, Warner Music Central Europe continues to ensure it will deliver the most innovative financial services and solutions in the market.
