Warner Chappell Music, the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group, has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Ana Mena – the multiplatinum selling artist and songwriter, who is the most streamed female performer in Spain and Italy.

Over the last three years, Mena has had five singles reach the Number One spot on the Spanish radio charts and has built an audience of six million monthly listeners on Spotify, while receiving more than 1.2 billion streams across the DSPs. Her Spanish language adaption of “Música ligera” won Song of the Year at the Los40 Music Awards 2022 – Spain’s most important music award show.

In March, Mena released her second album, Bellodrama, and landed her first Number One record after it topped the Spanish Top 100 Albums chart. While, her last two collaboration singles, “Las 12” with Belinda and “Quiero decirte” with Abraham Mateo, have racked up more than 78 million streams and more than 45 million streams respectively.

Mena has also enjoyed success in Italy, having recorded several hits there, including “A un passo dalla luna” with Rocco Hunt, which spent nine weeks at Number One and went 6x Platinum.

Mena started her career as an actress, starring in the 2009 TV series Marisol, la película, before taking part, and eventually winning, Disney’s musical reality show My Camp Rock 2 in 2010.

She released her first single, “No Soy Como Tú Crees”, in 2016 before collaborating with Italian star Fred De Palma on his single, “Una volta ancora”, in 2018. The track went 6x Platinum in Italy and helped grow her fanbase in the region.

2018 also saw the release of her debut album, Index, which landed in the Top 10 and peaked at Number Nine in Spain. She followed the record up in March this year, hitting the top spot with Bellodrama, which spawned a number of multiplatinum singles, while three music videos reached the Top 50 Spanish YouTube charts.
